\n- We have been learning all about barn owls.\u00a0 We know that barn owls have fluffy wings and they are silent when they fly.\u00a0 They swallow food in one gulp and they eat about 4 rodents a day.\u00a0 They also do not hoot like other owls they screech.<\/li>\n
- We have also been learning about money.\u00a0 We have been trying to make a sum of money using the least amount of coins.\u00a0 We know that you can make an amount of money in lots of different ways.<\/li>\n
- In handwriting we have started to learn about cursive writing.<\/li>\n
- We designed a Christmas card for a competition for the Scottish Government and the theme was NHS.<\/li>\n
- In HWB we have been thinking about our emotions and thinking of things to do if we feel stressed.<\/li>\n
- We have been learning about a recount and learning the different features.\u00a0 We know you use the words first, next, after and then. We also looked at nouns and plurals. We know plurals often\u00a0 end in a ‘s’.<\/li>\n
- In Writing we wrote a potion for Hallowe’en. We used lots of different ingredients then wrote the instructions to help other people make our potion.<\/li>\n
- In PE we played some Hallowe’en themed games . It was fun.<\/li>\n
