We have hit the ground running and have had a fantastic start to 2020.<\/p>\n
What have we been up to ?<\/p>\n

In literacy we have learnt new spelling rules, focussed on characterisation (which will help us with our stories) and read read read!\u00a0 We have practised our times tables as we know that these help us with our division and fractions and also honed our skills in telling the time using analogue and digital clocks.<\/p>\n
In science we have learnt about the respiratory system and are currently learning about the nervous system. It has been fascinating to learn how the brain works and a reminder to us all to look after it. We have also entered an engineering competition, (more details to follow)\u00a0 and Skyped a mechanical engineer, Jenny Roberts who told us about her work.\u00a0 She was so inspring to listen to and has been involved in creating fantastic inventions.\u00a0 She told us to have confidence in our designs for the engineering competition. Brilliant, we will Jenny !<\/p>\n
