This week we have been learning about fractions.\u00a0 We have looked at fractions of a shape and how to find them on a number line.\u00a0 We have also been comparing and ordering fractions.\u00a0 It is a bit tricky.<\/p>\n
We have also been looking at data handling.\u00a0 We have been using tally marks and creating bar graphs.\u00a0 We collected data about our favourite colour, eye colour, hair colour and favourite country.<\/p>\n

We have been writing a recount about our favourite holiday or day. We know you have to write a recount \u00a0in the past tense, include details about who, what, where and why and how you are feeling.\u00a0 We also know you need to remember punctuation!<\/p>\n

We have also learned about Ascension Thursday and know this is the day when Jesus ascended into heaven.\u00a0 We celebrated Mass on Thursday.<\/p>\n

In Guided reading we have completed our novels and are starting new ones.\u00a0 We can\u2019t wait!<\/p>\n

With Mrs Baty, we have started to make our own games for our gaming topic.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t realise how many steps are involved in making a game.<\/p>\n

In Number Talks with Mrs Heather, we were looking at a sequence of numbers and trying to work out which number was the odd one out.\u00a0 We discovered it could be more than one number.<\/p>\n

We have created presentations about food and the calories and energy found in food.\u00a0 We then presented the presentations to the class. \u00a0Some of use made a PowerPoint, while others used sway or made a video or poster.<\/p>\n

In P.E we have been learning about playing different types of rounders.\u00a0 It was fun!<\/p>\n
