This week we have researched Robert Burns using our own devices and school i-pads and laptops.\u00a0 We created a profile of Robert Burns. \u00a0We also learned some Scots words. For homework we also learned a few verses of a Burns\u2019 poem or song and recited them to the class. Well done everyone!<\/p>\n
Some facts we have learned about Robert Burns.<\/p>\n
Ellie -He was very famous for his poetry and songs.<\/p>\n
Mirin – He died because of a heart condition.<\/p>\n
Paula – He wrote so many poems and songs for example ‘To a mouse’<\/p>\n
Szymon – He was born in a farm in Alloway, in Ayrshire.<\/p>\n
Christy – He was also called Rabbie Burns.<\/p>\n
Max – He originally spelled his name BURNES.<\/p>\n
Sam and Leo – He had a wife called Jean Armour.<\/p>\n
Marwa – He had 9 children.<\/p>\n
Tomasz – He was born on 25th January 1759.<\/p>\n
Charlie – His last resting place is in Dumfries.<\/p>\n
Max – He died 21st July 1796.<\/p>\n
Sam – He was 37 years old when he died.<\/p>\n
