Primary 2 will be learning all about lots of famous artists over the course of the year and will make their own representations of the\u00a0chosen artist’s work. \u00a0Our first artist of the month is Piet Mondrian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What did we learn today ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tyler – ‘His dad was a painter and then he grew up to be painter’.<\/p>\n

Patryk – ‘His job was a teacher’.<\/p>\n

Lennox – ‘After he taught his children at school he went back home and painted.<\/p>\n

Andrew – ‘He was born on the 7th of March’.<\/p>\n

Dermott – To start with he didn’t paint what we did today, he painted fields and things’.<\/p>\n

Shahzaib – ‘When he first started painting he painted houses’.<\/p>\n

Sofia – ‘He decided to make different pictures’.<\/p>\n

Ava – ‘He started to paint squares and rectangles’.<\/p>\n

Justyna – ‘They were red, yellow, white, black and blue’.<\/p>\n

Thomas – ‘He used five colours altogether’.<\/p>\n

Piper – ‘He never mixed the colours in his paintings, he only used those colours.’<\/p>\n

Chloe – ‘He was very famous’.<\/p>\n
