Today, Primary 1 were learning all about The Police, as part of our People Who Help Us topic.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We began by watching a video about police in action, then we had lots of fun activities. We got to play dress up (as police and firefighters), and we even took our own finger prints!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some of the things we learned today:<\/p>\n

Ben \u2013 the police use helicopters<\/em><\/p>\n

Toby \u2013 They catch bad guys<\/em><\/p>\n

Olivia \u2013 They drive police cars<\/em><\/p>\n

Lennox \u2013 They go fast on their motorbikes to get badies<\/em><\/p>\n

Dermott \u2013 They have sirens on the top of bikes and cars<\/em><\/p>\n

Ava – They have handcuffs<\/em><\/p>\n

Arran \u2013 They go on motorbikes<\/em><\/p>\n

Daniel \u2013 They use horses<\/em><\/p>\n

Roman \u2013 They go on police helicopters<\/em><\/p>\n

Daniella \u2013 They wear a white and black vest<\/em><\/p>\n

Ben \u2013 They wear helmets<\/em><\/p>\n

Abdullah \u2013 \u00a0(the pattern on the side of their cars is…) blue and white and yellow \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Ava \u2013 Everyone has different lines on our fingers <\/em><\/p>\n

Tyler – … called their fingerpints\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
