Primary 1b had a fantastic time at Edinburgh Castle (please forgive the delay of this post!!!)<\/p>\n

We arrived at the Royal Mile, and were so excited walking up the hill, to catch our first glimpse of the castle.<\/p>\n

It was so much bigger than we expected! And luckily the weather stayed clear for us.<\/p>\n

We visited The Crown Jewels (very pretty); The Great Hall (have you seen the size of some of those swords??? And we found the key to the entire castle); we had lunch in the dungeons; we saw Mon’s Meg (the biggest ever canon … it was huge!!) and we heard (and viewed) the one o’clock gun (it was awfully loud … it gave us such a scare).<\/p>\n

We had a brilliant day …. and most of us fell asleep on the bus home.<\/p>\n
