Over the past three weeks\u00a0P7 \u00a0have taken part in a Tobacco Education Programme.<\/p>\n
Week 1 – We learned about the dangers of smoking<\/strong><\/p>\n Week 2 – We learned about the health risks<\/strong> and also the chemicals<\/strong> that are in cigarettes. We also learned how cigarettes are marketed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Week 3 – We learned about the dangers of second hand smoke<\/strong>. We learened where we are most likely to be exposed and also how we can protect ourselves better.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Scottish Government Tobacco Control Strategy target for 2034 is to have less than 5% of the scottish population to be smoking. They are hoping that by then it will be normal NOT to smoke.<\/strong><\/p>\n This has been very interesting and we have learned lots!
