Good morning Primary 2. Hope you have all had a great weekend.<\/p>\n
Firstly, let me say a big thank you to all you Primary 2 parents for your continuing hard work in getting through what has been a challenging time. This has not been the end to the school year we all would have wanted but your contribution has made all the difference and will help give everyone the best possible start to Primary 3.<\/p>\n
This week, in Education City I have made a MyCity with a reading task and some maths games. Read through the fable about ‘The grasshopper and the ants’. Then have a go at the PlayLive games, one about addition and one about subtraction.<\/p>\n
In the homework MyCity there are the phonemes \u2018o e\u2019 and \u2018e e\u2019 to learn about. Play \u2018Princess Rose’s Magic Stone\u2019 and \u2018Steve’s Theme Park\u2019 to practise those 2 sounds.<\/p>\n
There is also a West Lothian maths challenge over in SumDog. So if you\u2019re up to the challenge head over to SumDog to take part!<\/p>\n
