Primary 6 Snow Pack
Hi boys and girls,
Here are some activities for you to do in the event of a school closure because of the snow!
Have fun in the snow and stay safe.

- Practise your spelling words by writing your words in the snow.
- Research some arctic animals. How do they survive this snowy weather?
- Write instructions for building a snowman. Then try and build the biggest snowman as you can. Remember to take some photos!!
- Write an acrostic poem using wintry words.

- Write a newspaper report about the main new story. Look at the BBC Newsround website for some ideas
- Bake some Christmas goodies – Winter Punch Snowman Meringues Mince Pie Parcels
- Practise upstairs/downstairs addition & subtraction – Addition and Subtraction
- Practise your multiplication and division – Multiplication and Division
- Practise your spelling words – Spelling Practice Ideas
- Use a camera and make a photo story
- Design your own hat and gloves set.
- Write a playscript for the best part of your favourite book
- Write a story about an adventure in the snow
- Make intricate snowflakes using paper and scissors
