Another very busy week in primary 3! Miss McKenna set us a topic challenge for homework, we had to design a T-shirt that would encourage people from other countries to visit Scotland – we can’t wait to see who has won! Through our topic we have been researching famous Scots and looked at Charles Rennie Macintosh – we even created some of his designs! We really enjoyed P4’s assembly about their sacraments and are looking forward to making them ourselves next year!

After a lovely long weekend, primary 6 were straight back into the swing of things with Bugsy Malone rehearsals and more work on partitioning in maths.
We have started visiting the nursery every day in preparation for ‘buddying’ the new starts after the Summer. We are also taking on the P7 duties in our final few weeks of primary 6.
* Costumes for Bugsy need to be in school and checked as soon as possible. Anyone wanting to wear their Bugsy outfit to walk with the school in the Gala Day can have it returned for that weekend.
We would like to wish P4 good luck for their First Communion on Saturday.

We enjoyed working in groups to design posters to inform people about Pollution in the sea which is dangerous to sea animals and harmful to bathers. We thank mums and dads and grandparents for help completing our information sheet about the seaside at home. We each got a house point for completing this.
