Jeans for Genes Day

Jeans for Genes Day raises money for Genetic Disorders UK, the charity that aims to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.

 Genetic disorders affect 1 in 25 children in the UK – that’s more than 30,000 babies born each year. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest cause of death of children aged 14 and under.

 

Primary 4  week ending 15th March

This week primary 4 boys and girls have been writing stories using their imagination. 

They have been drawing miners using shading with pencils.

Using ICT  typing  letters to their world book day characters.

Money Week – Primary 4

We read the story Charlie Fly and the Nice Dream and talked about TV adverts targeting children.

We carried out lots activities about money and finance through a family called the Sterlings.

We learned how to use a budget sheet and created one for ourselves and another for a primary 1 pupil.
