We have just finished our topic on the Titanic. We learned it set off on its maiden voyage from Belfast in April 1912 and it sank on April 14th 1912 after hitting an iceberg. The musicians on board kept playing until the ship sank, we thought this was brave but also sad. We had a look at different people involved with the Titanic, including the Captains of both the Titanic and the SS California, the lookouts, the designer and the engineers, and came up with our own opinions about who might have been to blame. This week we have been focusing on internet safety. We made leaflets about how to stay safe online. We have also been watching videos on newsround. Here are some of our top tips:

~ don’t become friends with someone you don’t know

~ don’t talk to people online that you don’t know

~ never arrange to meet up with anyone

~ always tell your parents to check friend requests

~ always tell your parents if something doesn’t feel right or bothering you

~ never give out your personal information
