This week we have been learning about Earth hour. In class on Thursday we watched the Earth hour video and we had an hour without power on Thursday afternoon. Today we will bringing home a pledge sheet to ask our mum’s and dad’s to sign up for Earth hour. it is on Saturday from 8.30-9.30 pm. We will do something silly if you will sign up. My mum and dad have agreed to do earth hour. We have decided to do it twice so I can join in as I am usually in bed before 8pm. We will do it between 5pm and 6pm then mum and dad will do it at 8.30pm.
My mum has put my glow band in the freezer as she said it might still glow when we do Earth hour.
I will tell my class on Monday at circle time if the glow band still worked.
We have just signed up for earth hour on the website and there is a cool video to make your own earth hour lantern. Me and my mummy are going to make one today.
