We will be learning about Maths, Literacy, Health and IDL through Disney-themed activities \ud83d\ude42 (You have Mrs Docherty to thank for the fun ideas!)<\/p>\n<p><strong>First stop &#8211; Health and Wellbeing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Get moving with a Moana-inspired workout adventure!<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fMTXq7v3G7U<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second stop &#8211; Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Create a passport that you can use during your trip to Disney World! Remember to include a front cover, your name, a picture of yourself and lots of space for characters names.\u00a0 (Fold a piece of paper in half to make a mini booklet.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/Polkemmetps\/?attachment_id=10315\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-10315\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10315\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/Polkemmetps\/files\/2020\/06\/disney-world-passport-e1592746913646.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Each time you see a character this week in a ride, video or song, write their name in your passport! How many characters will you meet by the end of the week?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Third stop &#8211; Maths and Numeracy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To go on each ride, you must be taller than the items listed.\u00a0 For each ride, first <em><strong>estimate<\/strong><\/em> if you think you are tall enough to ride.\u00a0 Then <em><strong>measure<\/strong><\/em> using the objects listed.\u00a0 Keep a note of your answers in your jotter.<\/p>\n<p>Ride 1 &#8212;&gt; 6 pieces of cutlery<\/p>\n<p>Ride 2 &#8212;&gt; 6 of your own shoes\/socks<\/p>\n<p>Ride 3 &#8212;&gt; 3 books<\/p>\n<p>Ride 4 &#8212;&gt; 15 blades of grass<\/p>\n<p>If you have a measuring tape at home you could measure how tall you are.\u00a0 Can you find 3 things that are taller and 3 things that are shorter than you?
