We started our topic by noting all the things that we know about the Jacobites:

They fought
The were Scottish Rebels
Bonnie Prince Charlie was one of them

Then we listed all of the things that we would like to find out about them:

What battles did they fight in?
Who was involved in the battles?
What weapons did they use?
What was a woman’s role in the rebellion?
Where did they fight?
What armour did they have?
What was it like in a clan?
What did they eat?
Where did they use to build their houses?
Did they keep pets?

Clans

This week we have seperated the class into 4 Clans. When we found out our new clan members we worked together to come up with a clan name and a clan mascot. Each week we will work together to earn clan marbles and the clan with the most marbles at the end of the week will earn a prize. The competition is on….
