  • Responsible citizens

Responsible Citizens

We have 13 class jobs and children are given a new responsibility each week unless they are the lucky two who are given the ‘Week Off!’ pass.

Our Frog Pond reminds us to behave well and take responisbility for our actions. If a pupil is not displaying their best behaviour, their frog is moved. After 2 warnings the pupil loses 5 minutes from their 30 minute golden time on a Friday! If they continue to display inappropriate behaviour, they continue to lose 5 minute chunks every time their frog has to be moved.

Effective contributors

we are a class of bucket fillers! When we do something nice for someone, they tell us to put a ‘warm fuzzy’ in our bucket.

Succesful Learners

we are learning from all areas of Curriculum for Excellence including literacy, numeracy, health and wellbeing, religious and moral, expressive arts, social studies and technologies.

Confident individuals

we have a number of routines in the class that the children become very familiar with and this allows them independence and an ability to display mature, sensible behaviour.

And for Super Duper behaviour, children are given a star sticker for their Super Sticker chart. If you complete 3 charts; Bronze, Silver and Gold, there are some awesome prizes at the end of the year… so who is going for GOLD?
