At the beginning of the week P1\/2 had great fun experimenting with lemons and limes. Ask them what happened when they sprinkled bicarbonate of soda on the fruit\u2026and the lovely smell that we had in the water tray for a couple of days.<\/p>\n
Also, there was great excitement when sand was introduced to the area this week. We had some in trays to practise our letter formations and in the sand tray we have been using different sized spoons for scooping and filling different sized containers.<\/p>\n
In P.E. we have continued movement and balance and this week we were using small balls to practise rolling, throwing and catching. Then, in our writing this week we wrote about what we can do.<\/p>\n
With Mrs Stewart we were learning about an artist called Kandinsky and we worked hard to draw, colour and cut circles to fit inside each one. We were also using our 2D shapes to make pictures.<\/p>\n
Great Green \u2013 (things that went well) \u2026using prediction and recall when discussing a picture book.<\/p>\n
Think Pink \u2013 (we need to practise) \u2026 persevering to write a sentence.<\/p>\n
