{"id":7700,"date":"2026-08-14T13:29:18","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T12:29:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/MeldrumPrimarySchoolBlog\/?p=7700"},"modified":"2026-08-14T13:30:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T12:30:08","slug":"p1-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/MeldrumPrimarySchoolBlog\/2026\/08\/14\/p1-2\/","title":{"rendered":"P1\/2 Friday 14th August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>P1\/2 have had a great few days in school getting used to the new routines, making friends and getting to know Mrs Lang.<\/p>\n<p>We have enjoyed all the activities especially:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building cars with Mobilo<\/li>\n<li>Dot painting \u2018s\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Reading and watching the Elmer story and colouring a patchwork Elmer<\/li>\n<li>Exploring the water tray<\/li>\n<li>Playing with friends in the home corner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have been learning about Elmer the Elephant and how it is okay to be different.<\/p>\n<p>P1 have been learning the \u2018s\u2019 sound, zero and one.<\/p>\n<p>P2 have been ordering numbers to 10 and 20 and have been practising reading and writing 3 lettered words.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>P1\/2 have had a great few days in school getting used to the new routines, making friends and getting to know Mrs Lang.
