Another busy week in Primary 5! We have continued to focus on opportunities to read for pleasure, sharing books that we have enjoyed and giving reasons why these books\/authors are amongst our favourites. <\/p>\n
Great Green \u2013 \u2018What went well\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2013 Primary 5 used \u2018My World of Work\u2019 to explore the jobs that best suit their skills and attributes. They created \u2018Animal Me\u2019 profiles which explained different jobs and careers that are linked to these skills and attributes.
\n-We created a large-scale Victorian factory and made collage images of a city skyline showing the shapes of the buildings against the smoke-filled sky from the factories. <\/p>\n
Think Pink \u2013 \u2018Even better if\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2013 think about the use of neat, joined handwriting to uplevel our tasks.
\n\u2013 take every opportunity to tell the time!! and calculate how long an event lasts (duration of time.)<\/p>\n
