We’ve had a very productive week here at Meldrum PS.\u00a0 Classes have been busy learning across all areas of the curriculum.\u00a0 P7 have continued to take part in Spanish lessons with one of the staff from the Modern Language department at DCHS.\u00a0 P4, P5 and P6 have also joined online lessons in the area of modern languages, taking part in either French or Spanish activities.\u00a0 P6 are researching all about Europe as they prepare to take part in the West Lothian Council Euroquiz which some of the class members will be involved in.\u00a0 You can read more about class learning by reading each class’ individual blog posts for this week.<\/p>\n
Today we had a fantastic assembly where the winners of our Scots Poetry Competition performed for the whole school and their parents\/carers or a family member who were invited to join us.\u00a0 Congratulations to all of our winners, runners up and to everyone who put themselves forward in the competition.\u00a0 We loved hearing the different poems today and were proud of our classmates who performed so confidently.<\/p>\n
