{"id":7246,"date":"2026-01-16T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/MeldrumPrimarySchoolBlog\/?p=7246"},"modified":"2026-01-16T11:30:00","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T10:30:00","slug":"p4-friday-16th-january-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/MeldrumPrimarySchoolBlog\/2026\/01\/16\/p4-friday-16th-january-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"P4 Friday 16th January 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have had a busy week in P4 this week as we have started to prepare our class assembly for our grown ups which is next Friday.\u00a0 We have been learning our lines and practising our songs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Great Green (things that are going well)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Money &#8211; we were adding and subtracting using pounds and pence.\u00a0 We found it a wee bit tricky but using our school value of perseverance, we completed the tasks.<\/p>\n<p>French &#8211; we took part in a live lesson with other schools learning about numbers, colours, feelings and greetings in French.\u00a0 We really liked taking part and learning with other schools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Think Pink (things that were a bit tricky)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scottish poems &#8211; we are going to keep practising as some of the words are a bit tricky but we will keep trying our best.<\/p>\n<p>Writing &#8211; we are going to continue to work on making sure that we have accurate punctuation in our writing.<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s Lead Learners are Ollie and Alaya who showed our school value of respect.\u00a0 Well done!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have had a busy week in P4 this week as we have started to prepare our class assembly for our grown ups which is next Friday.\u00a0 We have been learning our lines and practising our songs.
