Our Learning P3-7th September

We have settled very well into the New Term and we are enjoying the different activities we are doing at school.

We are reading the book, Prince Jake Dungeon of Doom by Sue Mongredient and Mark Beech. We all like the book and have been using a lot of imagination and creativity as we read. We haveĀ  been able to use our imagination and prediction to make lovely scenes from the book.

Here is some work we did. We made scenes of Prince Jake and Prince Ned talking to each other right at the door of the Dungeon of Doom! We imagined what they could have said to each other!

We are very excited about our next project on this book, which is, making a Dungeon of Doom in small groups! We will use a lot of creativity and imagination.

We have been taking Library books to read at home for the past week. We now have our group reading groups ready and will bring home reading books every Monday, to be brought back on a Friday. More information will follow in our Class Newsletter.

We can now start reading on Bug Club. If do not have your Login for Bug Club/Active Learn this will be pasted onto your yellow Reading Record jotters this week.

In Numeracy we have started off with making equal sets which are a way of introducing repeated addition and then Multiplication.

We are all enjoying our fun morning greetings and have been able to say how we feel using the Zones of Regulation colours!
