Traditional outdoor play.

Play hopscotch.

Create a grid on a flat service. The outline can be traditional or you can create your own.

You can put any number sequence you like in the squares.

Each player needs to find a small stone to use.

Remember to agree the rules before you start!

Play noughts and crosses .

If you have chalk draw  a grid if not use sticks for the grid, leaves and stones for the noughts and crosses.

This strategy game  will teach you mathematical skills such as probability and chance.

  • Does it matter who goes first?
  • What happens if you increase the size of the grid?
  • What other changes could you make to this game? Let me know please.
