Kirknewton Primary School

P6 and P4 live author event.

Primary 4 and Primary 6 watched a live broadcast from the author Konnie Huq today.

Her new book ” Cookie” is all about a girl who loves science. She read extracts from the book and explained where she gained her inspiration. Our pupils then participated in a science quiz alongside the live audience. The children were then invited to think about how they would use science to create an invention. Mrs Kedslie set both classes the challenge to bring back the design for their inventions and share their ideas together.
