The children in the school enjoyed many activities for world book day and during the rest of the week. The Whole school started with ERIC time ( Enjoy Reading In School) even the adults joined in ! Many of the children took part in a world book day challenge. Please click on the link below to see the challenges.
Primary 3 as well as ERIC time, completed a Visualisation (under the Imagine section of the Big Book Off Challenge) based around a poem called “My Puppy” by Aileen Fisher and they also recreated a scene from their class novel “The Train to Impossible Places” through a Freeze Frame. In their Listening & Talking section they began to look at debating. P3 had to debate around the proposal that “How To Train Your Dragon” is the best book in the world.
