Burns Celebrations with Primary 1 and Primary 2

This week Primary 1 and 2 celebrated Burns night with a wee Scottish party.

Some of us wore tartan and we danced to Scottish music, showing our best dancing.

We played Scottish statues – we learned some highland dance moves and had to hold them when the music stopped.

Then we played pass the haggis.

We performed some scottish songs and poetry to each other and then went back to our classrooms to have some scottish food – haggis, neeps, tatties, oatcakes, shortbread and Irn Bru.

Our teachers were very impressed by our dancing and how much of the food we tasted!
