Our learning about the Romans this week has focused on Roman Towns.  We looked at some key features such as the Baths, the Temple, the forum and the Amphitheater.  We made notes about what happened at each of these places.  We also started to learn about Roman decoration – mosaics.  We created our own mosaic design then made it using coloured paper .

In maths we have continued to work on addition and subtraction strategies such as using the empty number line and counting forwards in tens.

In writing this week, we created a character and thought hard about adjectives to describe them and what interests our character would have.  We will write a story about them next week.
