To mark Remembrance Day on the 11th of November we will be holding a 2 minute silence to show our respect to all those who have lost their lives in conflict. Please note that Poppies will be on sale for the next two weeks. Members of Primary 7/6 will be selling Poppies for a minimum donation of 20p. Poppies can also be purchased at the school office. Please help us to support this worthy cause.
Congratulations to all our pupils who were awarded achievement certificates for demonstrating qualities of being a Successful Learner, Effective Contributor, Confident Individual and Responsible Citizen. You are excellent role models for you peers and we are all very proud of your achievements Well done girls and boys!
On Friday, 13th November, the pupils and staff of Knightsridge Primary School joined with people all over the UK to raise funds for Children In Need.
The Pupil Council led our assembly, telling us about celebrity role models. We discovered that by being kind, helpful and friendly to others, we can all be role models!
Lots of us dressed up as our role models – we had builders, mums and dads, teachers, footballers, celebrities and Video bloggers. In classes and in our areas, we took part in lots of fun activities such as biscuit decorating, Pudsey crafts, games and much more. We bought quiz sheets from the Sports Committee and yummy cakes from the Cool Kids Groups who had been baking all day on Thursday.
Thanks to everyone who donated and made it such a fantastic morning!
