On Monday 30th November we celebrated St Andrew’s Day in school. Primary 3b led an excellent on-line assembly explaining the history behind St Andrew and his connection with the Scottish flag.

Last week our whole school was learning all about ‘Road Safety’. As the days are now shorter and the nights longer, it is even more important to know how to keep ourselves safe around the roads and in our community.

We had a wonderful week celebrating ‘Book Week Scotland’.
‘The future wont write itself’ was the main theme and the children enjoyed dreaming, reading and writing about what the future might hold for them and for some of our characters from our favourite books.

We had a wonderful day celebrating all the wonderful work ‘Children in Need’ do to help, support and change the lives of so many young people.
Classes took part in exciting activities in their classrooms and during Breakfast Club, there was also a duck race for the staff!
Thank you for all your kind donations, we were able to donate £200 to this amazing charity.

We been celebrating children in our school who have demonstrated our school value of ‘Perseverance’. These pupils are determined and never give up even if they encounter obstacles along the way. We know that it is worth all the effort in the end.
