Scribbly Bugs!

I’ve already seen some lovely bugs this week but just incase you have missed the link here are a few pictures to also help you.

  1. Scribble on scrap paper, think about colour choices. Hot/cold or tones of one colour or just monochrome (one colour)

2. You can also scribble on old envelopes, food packaging or cardboard

3. Cut and collage into little bugs. You can also outline to make them pop!

Please share them with me, I would love to see what you create!

A few of us took part in the world’s largest Art lesson yesterday with  illustrator Rob Biddulph, we were trying to break a world record!  Please let me know if you did also.  Thank you to those who sent me your pictures, I am delighted to share them with the school.

If you didn’t manage to take part yesterday, there is still a chance to watch the lesson…

Maybe this is something you could do at the weekend?

Thank you for all the Kind pictures you sent me this week, I am going to put them all together with a big smile on my face. I will share them as soon as I can.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Piper

Weekly Art Challenge – Number 3

We are thinking are thinking about ‘Mental Health Awareness Week’ this week in all of our classes.

The main theme is Kindness which is perfect as it also one of our core values.

Here is your Art challenge for this week – Create a ‘Kind’ or ‘Kindness’ collage using things you find can find around your home. Here is what I found and put together…

You could use pencils, cutlery, Lego bricks, shoes and plenty of your imagination.  Everyone can get involved again…

Take a photo of your word from above so that it really clear. I created mine on the floor which made it easier to take my photograph. Please share your photo with me by Friday, I would love to see them. You can share through Glow, twitter or Teams.

Have fun,

Mrs Piper
