Growing Together<\/strong> is a fantastic community project based in Craigshill.\u00a0Thanks to funding secured through the Scottish Government\u2019s\u00a0Investing in Communities Fund<\/i><\/strong>, the project team are offering a range of community based \u2018plot to plate\u2019 activities which are great fun and free to take part in. Below you will find\u00a0 information about some of the online gardening and cooking sessions that are available. (These will also be displayed at the main door of both IEYC and LNS.)<\/p>\n

Priority will be given to residents from the Craigshill area however as these are online sessions, numbers are not restricted so can be attended by anyone living in the local area who is interested. Please note you do not need to be an Almond HA tenant!<\/p>\n

Whether you want to book onto one session, or all of the sessions the choice is yours. Please email me directly or email\u00a0enquiries@almondha.org.uk<\/a>\u00a0to book the sessions.<\/p>\n

\nTake part in a range of online cooking workshops<\/strong> with a
\ntop chef from V For Life Cookery School.
\n03\/03\/21 at 2pm: Chilli and simple flatbreads<\/strong>
\n10\/03\/21 at 2pm: Mushroom stroganoff<\/strong>
\n17\/03\/21 at 2pm: Sweet and sour<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final three cooking sessions will be based on what the
\ngroup want to make. Simply let the chef know what you
\nhave in your cupboard and together we will agree recipes
\nfor the following weeks!<\/p>\n

Love Food Hate Waste<\/strong>
\nLearn how to save money through menu planning, smart
\nshopping and using up leftovers.
\nThese fun and interactive sessions will describe how to cut
\nyour food waste, save up to \u00a3437 a year and enter a prize
\ndraw to win \u00a3100 worth of vouchers.
\nThere are two sessions to choose from, running on:
