This week in Inveralmond EYC we have put up our Christmas tree and decorations.\u00a0 Lots of the children participated in this and were very excited.\u00a0 We discussed colours and shapes.\u00a0 We used our sorting skills to match and sort the baubles by shape and colour.\u00a0 Some children used the baubles to create patterns.<\/p>\n

We have been playing a variety of Christmas table top games – following the rules and taking turns and there has been lots of Christmas art and craft activities on the go.<\/p>\n

We have been back out on our woodland adventures this week which has been fabulous the children thoroughly enjoy the open air and there is lots of learning taking place about the world surrounding us.\u00a0 \u00a0Some of the children have expressed concern over the amount of litter that is being dropped therefore we have decided to do some litter picking to keep the woodland a fun and safe place to be for us and the local wildlife.\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
