This week in Ladywell nursery we have been speaking about healthy/unhealthy food and drinks leading on from children’s interest from our floor book topic.  We looked on the laptop for some photographs for the children to play a game of sorting the photographs into the correct category.  We will look further into healthy/unhealthy foods and drinks through stories and games next week.

 

The children have been very busy over the last few weeks in the garden planting some vegetable seeds.  Here they are planting some courgette, beetroot, broccoli, onion and carrot.  We spoke about the importance of watering the vegetables so they grow, when they are grown we can have them for our snack.
