This week there has been lots of fun playing in the shop.  We have enjoyed using money to buy things and taking turns to be the shop keeper.  Next week we have planned to do some more activities using money to allow the children learn to identify coins and learn their value.     This is an opportunity for parents and carers to support with this doing some simple sorting activities at home with coins.  Pictures could be uploaded to the children’s learning journals.

Some children have also been using their imaginations.  We have introduced a treasure basket with various items in to support story telling.  A member of staff has scribed for the children and their stories are on display beside the main entrance.
