This week in Ladywell nursery the children have shown interest in making camp fires thorough their role play.  A talking tub box was then introduced to the children to further develop their knowledge of camping and what you need when you go camping.  They were shown metal cutlery, bowls, flint and steal, peg tents, folding seat, charcoal, hammer and a wooden cutlery set along with pots and a teapot.  They were particularly interested in the flint and steal as it created a spark which showed them how you would light a fire.  Next week we will be exploring the experience of camping through stories.
