This week the children at Inveralmond have been discussing the season of summer and travelling. They have been busy exploring a globe and have been discussing the different countries around the world, colouring different countries flags. We have also made a travel agents indoors where the children have been using the computer to book trips and share experiences with each other.

       

 

   

The children have been exploring the properties of the blocks in the garden using their gross motor skills to make a variety of buildings including ‘Blackpool Tower’ and have been busy creating ‘fun fair rides’ using the soft play blocks were we have been sharing our own experiences on places we have travelled to and where we would like to travel to in the future.

        

 

We have also been taking advantage of the lovely weather enjoying,  splashing and cooling off in the paddling pool .
