We wrote imaginative stories about travelling to space. We enjoyed it so much we made rockets from junk materials to invent our own stories then we created resistance pictures of outer space using oil pastels and watercolour.

Well done Abbey, Max and Kayla for your excellent character descriptions!
We have been working hard to create character descriptions. Our partners drew our characters based on only he information we included. Some of us had matching pictures but some of us need to work on our descriptive language :-).
What a busy week we have had this week! We have taken part in Joe Wicks School Workouts each day, Rookie Rockstars Monday – Thursday and it has also been maths week! We learned the ‘a’ sound, number 4 and 5, and did some writing about our favourite thing to do.
Primary 1 have been working hard, drawing and writing about our favourite things to do!
Well done to our P3 and P4 winners (Lily-Ann and McKenzie Hilditch were also winners), congratulations!! 🙂
This morning we took part in the live workout with Joe Wicks. Rhys said he felt really strong afterwards. Joe gave Greenrigg Primary a shout out on the live feed woo hoo!! 🙂
Thank you to everyone who came to our open evening on 11th September, here is Sam showing his Mum and auntie a maths activity.
This week is maths week in Greenrigg primary. We have been doing lots of activities in our groups using concrete materials, picture representation and writing sums.
