Data Blog(provided by guardian.co.uk) is an intruiging site full of snippets of interesting data that you know that some day you will find a use for. Today for example it is considering the cost of Leeds’ Lord Mayor. There are many topics considered by Data Blog and the data is given in various different forms. You could easily spend a few hours just searching and getting answers to questions you didn’t even know you had. Just in case you did want to know the cost of Leeds’ Lord Mayor was £1,585,367.92 from 2005-10.

On a far more serious/topical issue here is  a map of every incidence of diplomatic or armed hostilities between North Korea and South Korea over the last sixty years created by Data Blog. Click on the image to find out more about each incident.
