Our novel, Wonder, came to an emotional end this week . Everyone felt that the book had taken us on an , \u201cEmotional rollercoaster\u201d, but was an extremely enjoyable and memorable read . The Author R.J. Palacio has written a follow up to the book which focuses on the stories of some of the peripheral characters. It is called Auggie and Me, just in case anyone wants to add it to a Christmas list!<\/p>\n
We are hoping to watch the film of Wonder in class, however, it is a PG and therefore we will be sending home permission slips, please look out for them .<\/p>\n
Christmas celebrations have well and truly started in school, with Primary 7 serving the Christmas lunch on Tuesday. They did an excellent job and carried out their duties in a responsible manner. We brought the festivities into our classrooms by learning Feliz Navidad.<\/p>\n
Talent show auditions will be held on Wednesday afternoon. We know that we have a primary year that is full of talented individuals, it would be great to see some more acts signing up !<\/p>\n
