<\/del>\u00a0\"image\"<\/a>Mick our bus driver got us all here safely. We stopped off at Eden Camp where we saw a lot of WW2 artefacts. The artefacts were very realistic and we enjoyed looking at them. We also enjoyed the authenticity of the experience (we could hear, smell and feel things which almost transported us back to 1939!)<\/p>\n

Once on the ferry we had a wonderful buffet on board. Everyone was stuffed to the brim! Then we all got changed into our glam clothes and went to a disco with an amazing sunset view! We laughed a lot when Mrs Gilmour called the J20 drinks “H20s”!! We enjoyed having our own cabins on the ferry and were awoken by Miss Clark & Miss Farren singing us a nice song!<\/p>\n

Our ferry was slightly late in docking at Zeebrugge but we were happy to visit the Dunkirk Museum. \u0106est magnifique! The museum was very interesting and Ashley in particular enjoyed taking a whole host of photographs!<\/p>\n

We then got back on the bus and arrived at La Coupole where we had a pre ordered lunch and cornettos. We watched an interesting film about the formation of the V1 and V2 rockets created by the Nazi army. We then walked round the exhibition which was very poignant as we studied our World War 2 topic last term.<\/p>\n

En route to the hotel we enjoyed looking out of the window and enjoying the beautiful landscape. We found that the land was a lot flatter than Scotland. Katie also saw many wind turbines.<\/p>\n

Thank you for your questions Primary 7! We are missing you! We have now arrived at our hotel and have just consumed a very yummy dinner with the best pudding ever – eclairs! The food has all been excellent so far. Beside our hotel there is an equestrian centre where the French Olympic team train. We are enjoying seeing lots of horses and ponies out of our windows. Now, we’re about to go to the park and play together before bed. Il fait chaud! P7 – can you translate our French to find out what the weather has been like?<\/p>\n
