Primary 6 have been busy learning the songs for our school show in April.\u00a0 The words for this will be sent out today as part of the children’s homework.\u00a0 Auditions for parts will be going ahead very soon.\u00a0 If your child has lines to learn we would appreciate it if you would encourage them to practise this at home too.<\/p>\n
We are looking forward to the Burn’s competition on Friday.\u00a0 The children will be reciting their poem in class on Wednesday in preparation for this.<\/p>\n
This week we have been working on our new topic – Europe.\u00a0 We have been looking at mapping skills to identify the different countries in Europe and have also been learning about grid referencing.<\/p>\n
In Science, reading and writing we have been learning about environmental issues related to renewable and non-renewable energy.<\/p>\n
Last week we started our new PE block and are doing basketball on Monday indoors and circuit training on Wednesday outside.\u00a0 Please remind your child to bring appropriate kit for these days including gloves for circuit training.<\/p>\n
