In numeracy we are focusing on fractions, decimals and percentages. To support the children\u2019s learning in class please continue to encourage your child to log on to education city where there is a variety of activities for them to do.<\/p>\n<p>We have been continuing to work on our science skills using our passports from DCHS. Our focus was on measuring water and temperatures accurately. Next week we will be looking at measuring mass and time precisely before undertaking more experiments.<\/p>\n<p>All the children have been working really hard in class to learn their Scottish poem which they will be reciting in front of the class on Tuesday 21<sup>st<\/sup> and Wednesday 22<sup>nd<\/sup> January. Two children will be chosen to represent each class at the Burns assembly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WWII Families and National Identity Cards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Primary 7 have travelled back in time to 1939; they have changed identity and have moved to either London or Clydebank! Other facts about their war time lives will be revealed to them over the next few weeks. The pupils will be finding factual details about their lives through various sources. Thank you to all the families who have shared their own memories and family histories of WWII, personal stories and artefacts bring the topic alive for the pupils.
