We started our WWII topic, please be prepared to be interviewed by our intrepid investigative journalists as they research their family involvement and memories of the war. We have issued topic homework. Pupils should select and complete at least<strong> one activity<\/strong> from each column. These tasks should be completed by the 24th March. Pupils should be prepared to present them in class.<br \/>\nWe launched our Literacy Circle groups, with each pupil selecting their own novel from a choice of books all relating to WWII. It is wonderful to see such enthusiasm in Primary 7 with regards to their novels. Each group has been assigned a task from their literacy circle packs and should have it ready for their literacy circle meeting on Thursday.<br \/>\nWe began learning the musical score for our senior show this week, auditions will follow soon.<br \/>\nIn numeracy we are continuing to focus on fractions, decimals and percentages and we are studying angles in math sessions.<br \/>\nAll pupils have now chosen their Scottish poems for our Scottish Assembly. Two pupils from each class will be selected to recite their poems at the assembly but all pupils have the opportunity to present in front of their class.<\/p>\n<p>REMINDERS \u2013<br \/>\nPE \u2013 Outdoor Kit Mondays Indoor Kit Tuesdays<\/p>\n<p>HOMEWORK<br \/>\nSpelling &#8211; words will be given on Mondays with homework due on Fridays.<br \/>\nLiteracy Circles &#8211; Homework task and reading will be given out on Thursday and is due the following Thursday .<br \/>\nEducation City &#8211; All pupils have been given fresh paper copies of their passwords, please log in .<br \/>\nScottish poems &#8211; please practise<br \/>\nTopic &#8211; One activity from each column &#8211; due Tuesday 24th March<\/p>\n<p>Thank for your continued support,<br \/>\nMrs Wylie, Mrs Muir and Mrs Macaulay<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy New Year !
