Merry Christmas

The nursery staff would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

The children had a ball at the Christmas Party and, with your help, our festive fundraisers have helped to replenish our nursery funds.

Thank you for all the support you give to the children and the nursery. It is very much appreciated and really makes a difference to the children’s nursery experience.

We will see you all on Monday 7th January, 2019.

Christmas Singalong Superstars

Congratulations to all the nursery boys and girls on their fantastic performances today.  I am sure you will agree they are all amazing and truly deserved their star.

Thank you to all the parents, carers, aunts, uncles and  grandparents that came to support the  children.  It meant the world to th children to see so many happy, familiar faces in the audience.

The winners of the raffle were Mrs Doull (am session) and Mrs McIntyre (pm session). Congratulations to you both and many thanks to all those who bought a ticket to help raise funds for the nursery.

Nursery Christmas Lunch

The Christmas festivities have truly begun in the nursery, with the children visiting the school dinner hall for their Christmas Lunch.

The lovely dinner ladies made a tasty festive lunch of turkey, with trimmings, and a special pudding of jelly.

As a thank you, the children sang them some of our Christmas songs.

If you wish to purchase tickets for the Christmas Singalong on Monday, please speak to a member of staff.  Raffle tickets are also available at £1 per strip.

Woodland Wonderland and Muddy Puddles

The children again had a wonderful time exploring the local woodland today.  The AM session counted aeroplanes in the sky, listened for interesting sounds and climbed a mountain.  The PM session looked for Stick Man and his Family Tree, listened for new sounds and found an enormous muddy puddle.

This will be the last walk this term, due to the Christmas Singlaong and Party. However, we plan to resume our woodland adventures in the new year.

Thank you to all the volunteers that help to make our walks possible.
