Happy New Year from all the staff at Blackridge Nursery!

The new year has started with a very windy and snowy bang! Well done to all of those who have braved walking and driving through this January weather. Can we remind all children to come to nursery with appropriate clothing and footwear, and for parents to check clothing in their change bags are seasonally appropriate.

The children have all returned full of beans and new ideas, and we are looking forward to embarking on our latest topic adventure, ‘Pirates’. Your children will join the crew of the ‘Good ship Blackridge’ and sail the seven seas looking for pirate treasure.

We have a small interlude (1 week), where we will celebrate all things Scottish, leading up to the birthday of Robert Burns. We will be looking at different poems, and learning  some scottish words.

We look forward to having you all join us on our adventures.
