Primary 1\/2 had a great start to the year.\u00a0 They have been working hard learning lots of new things.\u00a0 In Literacy the boys and girls have been practicing their reading and learning lots of new spelling patterns and Fry\u2019s words.\u00a0 In Maths they have been learning all about pictograms and we made our very own pictogram to go on our classroom wall.\u00a0 Primary 1\/2\u00a0 did a great job at sharing lots of facts about themselves and their family during their topic\u2019 All about Me\u2019 and were very confident performing and sharing information\u00a0 at their first Class assembly.\u00a0 I set them a homework challenge and was amazed to see how much hard work had gone into their family tree.\u00a0 Well done boys and Girls.<\/p>\n
P1\/2 also entered our community CAB competition which includes the other 3 schools in the area.\u00a0 I was very proud to hear that one of our Primary 1\u2019s won the competition and will have her picture placed in this year\u2019s calendar.\u00a0 Well Done.<\/p>\n
This term we will be very busy with our book project \u2018The Gruffalo\u2019, learning about anti bullying and road safety and also practicing for our school Nativity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
