We want your child to learn words like \u2018enormous\u2019 and \u2018tiny\u2019 so that they can use these as well as words like \u2018big\u2019 and \u2018small\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Where do the BOOST words come from? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The \u2018boost\u2019 words are taught through the context of a story. We will focus on 3-4 \u2018boost\u2019 words from the chosen story each week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Why are we focussing on BOOST words?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u2018Boost\u2019 words increase your child`s vocabulary and help to explain their ideas and thoughts better when they are talking. \u2018Boost\u2019 words also help them to understand what they are reading.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">You can listen to the story or read it aloud if you`ve got this book at home.
