Hope you are ready for another day of learning!<\/p>\n<p>Kick start the day with some exercise with Joe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/thebodycoach1\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/thebodycoach1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget to have\u00a0 arrest and a wee drink before you begin Literacy.<\/p>\n<p>This morning we will continue with the revision of the<b> oa<\/b> sound.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Let&#8217;s learn some more<b> oa<\/b> words by watching this short clip<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Phonics 3 A   - the &quot;oa&quot; sound\" width=\"474\" height=\"356\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/awJQ6IlGl_M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Try to identify as many words using the<b> oa<\/b> sound as you can &#8211; can you think of 10?<\/li>\n<li>Share them with a family member<\/li>\n<li>Complete the 3<b> oa<\/b> activities on Study Ladder and remember to do the tutorial first<\/li>\n<li>Now choose 3<b> oa<\/b> words write a sentence for each one on your jotter e.g. My new <strong>coat<\/strong> is red.<\/li>\n<li>Try to make your sentence more interesting by including an <strong>adjective<\/strong> or a <strong>connective &#8211; and, but, so, because, then<\/strong>\u00a0 e.g. My new coat is red <strong>and<\/strong> has pockets.<\/li>\n<li>Remember to use a capital letter at the start and a full stop at the end of each sentence<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t forget to write neatly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To finish off see how many of the oa words you can find in this word search<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.galacticphonics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/oawordsearcheasier.pdf\">http:\/\/www.galacticphonics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/oawordsearcheasier.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mrs Topping<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning everyone!
