The AGM of our Parent Council was held on 25th August and the minutes and revised Constitution are attached. Your elected representatives for the 2014-15 session are;

Chair – Neil Quinn
Vice Chair – Carol McNicol
Secretary – Elizabeth White
Nursery reps – Leigh Maybury and Gillian Greenwell
Autism Resource- Liz Notman
Year 1 reps – Claire Houstin and Janice Earl Summers
Year 2 reps – Dorthe Davidson and Alison Currie
Year 3 reps – Karen Smillie and Kirsten Gamble
Year 4 reps – Steph Cameron and Karen Bonnar
Year 5 reps – Margaret Hendry, Tracy Ross and Gina Freeman
Year 6 reps – James Savage and Nicola McFarlane
Year 7 reps – Lynne Bell and Paula Diment
Float Committee – Audrey Templeton

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 6th November at 6.15pm and all parent and carers are welcome to come along and join our Parent Council.

Walking Bus

A number of parents have established an informal walking bus to help with bringing children to and from Balbardie from the green area of Bathgate.  This is a group of parents who are helping each other out to reduce traffic around the school and from having to come out every morning and afternoon to the school.  The walking bus is off to a wonderful start.  If you would be interested in joining the rota then please speak to one of the walking bus mums at the end of the day in the P1/2 playground.

The minutes from our recent Parent Council AGM can be found here along with our revised Constitution document. Our next meeting is on Wed 6th Nov at 7pm in Balbardie Primary School – all parents are welcome to attend or alternatively if you have anything you would like raised at the next meeting please contact your Year Rep.
